How to enable 2FA in Google Authenticator in Phoenix

Set up Google Authenticator on your device

Please check the help relevant to your phone operating system in order to get verification codes with Google Authenticator: Android | iPhone&iPad

Install Google Authenticator

Install Google Authenticator on your device by searching for it in your device’s app store.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication

  1. In your system, click your email address on the upper right hand side
  2. Scroll down to Two-Factor Authentication
  3. Tick Enable Two-Factor Authentication (Google or Microsoft Authenticator)
  4. Using your device with the downloaded Google Authenticator App,  Scan the QA code using your device’s camera

 

PLEASE NOTE: After 2FA has been enabled please do not logout of PhoenixATS before installing the Google Authenticator app and being able to generate codes as you will be able to login in PhoenixATS just by using the codes generated by the app. If for any reasons you are not able to install the app please disable 2FA until you are able to generate codes with the app.

 

When Logging in to system using the 2FA

  1. Access your system URL
  2. From the log in page , enter your Email address and Password
  3. Page will direct you to Verify your identity by entering the code from Google Authenticator

          

  1. Check Google Authenticator from your device. A 6 digit code in blue will show below the system URL. Please note that digits expires after a few seconds and another set of 6 digit codes will be generated.

 

  1. Enter the 6 digit code in your system’s Verification code field then click Submit. This will allow you to access the Main page of your system.
