Attaching Candidates To a Job

System users can attach existing or new candidates to  a job. There are 4 ways to attach candidates to a vacancy:

  • Attach New Candidate
  • Express Attach New Candidate
  • Attach Existing Candidate
  • Attach to Another Job

Attach New Candidate

Use this option to attach a candidate to a job who has no user account in the system. When a user choose this option, the user needs to supply information for the candidate's registration and application forms.

1. Click on a job and click on "Attach New Candidates" from the actions sidebar.

2. Complete the Registration Form.

3. Click "Continue" button.

4. Complete the application form.

5. Click on "Finish" button.

 

Express Attach New Candidate

There might come some instances that you need to register a new candidate but you do not have the complete information for their registration and application form. In this case, you can use the "Express Attach New Candidate". This function allows the system user to attach new candidates into a job by filling out few basic fields:

  • Email Address (optional)
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Source 
  • CV Upload

Below are the steps:

1. Click on a job and click on "Express Attach New Candidate" from the actions sidebar.

2. Complete a short form:

  • Profile (No Email) checkbox - Tick this box if you do not have the email address of the new candidate to be attached.
  • Email Address - Make sure the email address is correct and active.
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Source (Where did you first learn about this vacancy?)
  • Upload CV

3. Click "Finish".

 

Attach Existing Candidate

1. Click on a job and click on "Attach Existing Candidate" from the actions sidebar.

2. Type the candidate name in the text box.

3. The search results will appear in a table with your name and any similar names. Check the box to the left of the appropriate name and select "Next". 

4. If you wish to add a previous application form completed by the candidate select from the drop-down box.

5. Click "Attach".

All candidates attached to a vacancy are sent to the ‘Attached’ section.

To view/manage these candidates select the Attached link.

 

 Attach to Another Job

Follow the steps below to attach candidates to another job you feel is suitable to them.

1. From a current list of applicants within a job check the box next to the candidate name. 

2. Click "Attach to another Job" in the actions sidebar.

3. A search for Job box will open. Click the drop-down arrow and choose the job where the candidate/s will be attached to.

4. Click "Attach" button.

5. If you wish to add a previous application form completed by the candidate select from the drop-down box.

6. Click "Attach" button.

All candidates attached to a vacancy are sent to the ‘Attached’ section of the job. 

To view/manage these candidates select the Attached link.
